 Koorana Crocodile Farm is located in Coowonga some 13km west from the Capricorn Coastal town of Emu Park, and 29 kms east of the Central Queensland city of Rockhampton, known throughout the country as the Beef Capital of Australia.

Koorana itself is 5 km south, along the Coowonga Road, and is easily found by following the 'signs'.

TRAVELLING NORTH THROUGH ROCKHAMPTON.
When travelling from Rockhampton from the southern side of the City you follow signs to Emu Park. Turn right at the traffic lights into Lakes Creek Road, which is the first street off the old Fitzroy River Bridge.

Continue in an easterly direction for approx 29km. The Coowonga Road turnoff is approx 3.5km on your right after you pass the Keppel Sands Road turnoff. This is singposted with a large brown and silver coloured sign.

Travel along Coowonga Road  for approximately 5km, just following the signs to the entrance of Koorana Crocodile Farm.

TRAVELLING SOUTH FROM MACKAY,
When entering Rockhampton from the north, you enter the city via the suburb of Parkhurst. The first major intersection is the Yeppoon turnoff. Continue travelling south passing the Central Queensland University to your left. Travel 7km south on the Bruce Hwy also known as Yaamba Road,(DO NOT TURN RIGHT at the intersection of Moores Creek Road) keep heading south and turn left into Lakes Creek Road, which is the last road on the left before the Fitzroy River Bridge.

Then follow the directions as listed above in travelling north entry.....
